🧭 Program Objective

The DYSC Developmental Program is a key stepping stone for young athletes working toward future competitive play. Designed for boys and girls aged 11 and under, this program focuses on:

• Technical growth

• Tactical understanding

• Physical development, confidence-building through game play

Led by USSF Licensed Coaches and overseen by the DYSC Director of Soccer, this program balances high-quality instruction with fun, age-appropriate training.

🏃‍♂️ Training Schedule & Location

• Ages 11 & Under:
  📅 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  ⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
  📍 Dewey O'Boster Sports Complex
  (1200 Saxon Blvd, Deltona, FL)

🧑‍🏫 Coaching & Training Approach

• Coaches: USSF Grassroots or higher certified

• Oversight: DYSC Director of Soccer (US National C License)

• Training Format: “Play-Practice-Play” methodology

🧤 Specialized Sessions

✅ Goalkeeper Training (Twice p/week)

• Game-based warm-ups & conclusions. technical and tactical development, decision-making under pressure

✅ Strength & Conditioning (Once per week)
Soccer-specific drills (agility ladders, plyometrics, sprint mechanics), core & balance training, functional conditioning tied to in-game movements

🏟 Game Experience

• In-House League: U12 participants will compete in DYSC's in-house league.

• Tournament Enrollment:

• Tournaments are optional and TBD based on parent interest and third-party availability

• Players may be invited to guest play or even be promoted mid-season to competitive teams

📅 Program Calendar

• Fall Season: August to November

• Spring Season: February to May

• Final schedules and rosters subject to City of Deltona field approval

• Split by gender when enrollment permits; otherwise, co-ed format applies

Program Season:
